Gabriel’s schedule between work and school had been running him ragged. The only thing he wanted to do was face plant on his bed. Walking slowly to his dorm room, he turned the handle and felt the door knob come out into his hand, resulting in the other side falling on the floor with a thud. “What the- ugh come on!! I just want to sleeeep” he whined to himself. His handleless door was now ajar and it had a hole where the knob should be. There was too much foot traffic to get any sleep like that. Picking up the pieces, he made his way to Scott’s office and knocked on the door. “Professor, I have a problem.”

Lorna felt like she had managed to get herself in trouble when she saw the note. Her mind went through everything she had done since smacking Scott. As far as she recalled she hadn't done anything...bad? Standing in front of Scott's office was almost nerve wracking. Lorna was positive he changed his mind about her staying there. Unable to wait much longer Lorna knocked on Scott's door.

Lorna wiped her eyes after her brother and sister had left, feeling stupid for having rushed over. Stupid for still hoping their father would show up. She waited another thirty minutes before deciding she had enough of being on her own, and made her way to the conference rooms. She knew which professor was where, and despite her (often loud) protest against working with Scott he was the only professor she knew well enough to go to. Quietly she knocked at his door @opticxblast
