you know what really just absolutely KILLS ME about the whole damn Shied-Madi plot?!? it PROVES that Clarke was right about the Flame...

she was right to want to keep that shit as far away from her kid as possible.

she was right to have Madi getting the Flame be her worst nightmare.

she was right to do everything in her power to protect Madi from the Flame.

she was right, the Flame was toxic and malicious and destructive and left nothing but pain and nightmares and trauma in it’s wake.

she was right to think that the Flame would be nothing but a burden on Madi and tear her apart from the inside out.

Clarke was right the whole time... But no one will ever say that. No one will ever talk about that. No one will ever acknowledge that. Instead she’ll just keep apologizing for doing everything she could to protect her child and keep feeling guilty for doing the only thing she could to save Madi from danger and possibly death under the circumstances and keep being ganged up on and criticized and brow-beaten and keep forgiving everyone around her but never forgiving herself and never receiving any in return until freaking Praimfaya comes around again and i’ll just die mad about it.

Finished Watching The First Season of Dragon Prince

//It’s actually really good!

It’s very similar to the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender in it’s tone where it can be serious but it still has very likable characters. The villain is utterly threatening and the use of foreshadowing is utterly masterful at THE VERY LEAST. I can see it definitely taking the mantle of Avatar: The Last Airbender and I would love to see the game that will come out in this exact world cause.. this world looks really dense!

That being said, the comedy is really hit or miss and I didn’t really like the villain’s children that much.. Pacing can be pretty slow sometimes. that being said..

I highly recommend watching it!
