I had a wild thought the other day that I thought I’d put out into the world

Jason and Roy are close, right? And I love Lian Harper.

I keep imagining scenarios where Jason is asked to be Lian’s godfather (or maybe he and Roy are getting married). So Jason, upon realizing there is technically a non-zero chance he might be responsible for Lian, legally revives Jason Todd so that if Lian ever did end up under his care, he could use his legal Jason Todd identity to access better opportunities for Lian.

The best part? He doesn’t involve any of the Batfam in his process of being legally alive again. Maybe they find out because Oracle notices something and then they wait for whatever Jason will do next. Maybe they find out because Vicki Vale writes about it. Maybe they find out because Bruce’s lawyers cannot stop calling because “I thought??? Your son??? Died??? Who is this man trying to access the trust fund you were too sad to close???”

Who knows? But I’m very entertained thinking about how chaotically that might go while also feeling the fluff of Jason basically going “okay, I care a lot for Lian and will do whatever it takes to support her as best as I can”

As you might be able to tell a lot of my other Jason head cannons revolve around him protecting kids
