I was having such a bad day- moody, grumpy, doubting myself in general. And then I just got a report from my kiddo’s daycare that the smoke alarm went off this morning. My little one has a major fascination but also some panic when it comes to sudden, loud noises, so I was worried to start reading the email.

The director of the preschool said that my baby charges towards the sound to make sure that everyone was alright, and then when the smoke alarm stopped and some of the kids were crying, my little one went to a group of them and said “it’s okay, it’s okay” trying to soothe them and telling them “there’s nothing to be ‘fraid of!”

The teacher said she and the rest of the staff were super impressed. I’ve got the best, coolest, most amazing kid you guys. Best freaking kid ever. I’m so proud and I had to share.
