Dodie Pettit: She *almost* became the first principal Meg Giry on Broadway in 1988, but entered the original Corps de Ballet instead, were she understudied Meg. In 1991-1992 she was u/s Christine in the 2nd National Tour, opposite her husband Kevin Gray as the Phantom. (and yes, the wig in the ballerina photo is edited)
Charlotte Brænna: She was principal Meg Giry in the non-replica Oslo production in 2018-2019. For the last months of the run she also understudied Christine. It appeared she would not get to perform the role, but principal Astrid Giske lost her voice before the very last perfomance in 2019. This meant Brænna went on as Christine, and Fransisca Sveinall went on as Meg.
Micaela Sjöstedt: She was one of two Christine understudies in the Stockholm revival of the replica production 2016-2017, and went on a handful of times. When the non-replica Finnish/Swedish version opened in Gothenburg in 2017 she went on becoming principal Meg there, as well as understudying Christine.
Mary Michael Patterson: She was first the alternate Christine and later principal Christine on Broadway 2013-2014, taking over from Marni Raab. In 2018-2019 she was principal Meg Giry in the US Tour of “Love Never Dies”.
Kaja Mianowana: She started out as one of three principal Christines in the original Polish non-replica production in 2008, and played the role for some years. From 2016 she covered both Christine and Meg.
Honourable mention to Megan Kelly, who was Christine in West End and also sung Meg in a studio recording. And alo Sarah Bakker, who was in the Corps de Ballet in the World Tour - but unclear if she ever covered Meg - and who later understudied Christine in the World Tour and on Broadway.
