Dave stopped listening to the voices in the back of his mind, standing from his knelt down position, determined to gain his sister's trust once more. Stepping onto the familiar device, he hissed softly as he felt elation rise in his body as he became simple molecules for a few mere moments, and then he was there again. Back behind her house, just as he stepped off the transportalizer. It was his minor miracle that she hadn't shut it off before he came over.
His throat closed up as he moved out of the mausoleum that was erected for her previously dead, and still dead, cat, Jaspers. Then, he was out in a blur, right up on the door leading into her house, chest constricting. He didn't want to intrude... since that would make her even more mad. Instead?
"Rose! Are you in there?!"
His voice threatened to crack under the pressure, but he managed to keep it level.
