While I'd love to see Logan become the orange side, I think it would also be interesting to see our dear lil prince snap. Or maybe they both could be the orange side together? We'll see ^^ (foreshadowing) They both have a reason to be wrath. They have both been ignored or walked over in the past videos, and they both have their reasons to turn against the others. Oh boy, could you tell that I am so excited for the reveal?! Now that my projects near done for this semester, I will have more time again to work on content ^^ Stay tuned!

Orange Side cameo in most recent episode!!

So most people noticed that Virgil and Remus communicate though scores colored accordingly

But this text is ORANGE it doesn’t seem to say anything but if we flip it...

An Orange side theory - And a theory as to why Virgil’s name doesn’t end with an -us

(This is just a theory a game theory, I’m not claiming this to be entirely correct, this is just for fun)

From what we have been told, the dark sides are parts of himself that Thomas associates with being a bad person. However, this doesn’t quite track with Virgil. Thomas has never expressed that Anxiety being a part of him makes him any less of a morally good person. The main problem he and the rest of the sides had with Virgil was how hard he made Thomas’s life at times.

Additionally, the “Is Thomas a good person?”-arc seems to be somewhat finished. With the last episode bringing it to a conclusion, featuring this line from Patton:

 “I'm done asking is Thomas a good person”

Which you know, seems quite straight forward about that. Having another “Bad” side that poses that question again could feel quite redundant at this point, as we have already gone through that exact predicament several times.

The fact that Virgils name has different suffix to Janus and Remus is a mystery we still haven’t gotten any explanation to. But I believe it’s because he isn’t the same kind of side as Janus and Remus. While the two before mentioned sides represent traits that offer moral dilemmas, Virgil represents traits that offer more, mental dilemmas.

My theory is therefore that the “orange side” will be the same kind of side as Virgil, one which doesn’t represent traits of a bad person, but rather mental and personal problems*. A side that makes Thomas’s life difficult, as Virgil did in the beginning. He would still be a dark side, as it’s likely not a problem that Thomas has recognized he has, but not a dark side in the sense of being a “bad side”. And I believe he will have a similar suffix to Virgil, his name ending in a vowel followed by -L, thus connecting the two and their functions.

*By mental problems, I don’t mean Mental disorders. While anxiety can, of course, be a disorder, it’s not that for Thomas. And I don’ think the orange side will be that either, as it would be a touchy subject.

Bonus theory: While I love the idea of dark side Logan or dark side Roman, I really don’t think the orange side is a new form of anyone we already know. My main reason for this being, how would the orange side send us a message in form of the “07734” If the side does not technically exist yet? All the sides are represented in some way throughout SvS Redux, even those that are not present. And I don’t think any of them is playing double agent, sending two different messages. I believe the orange side will be an entirely new character, an entirely new side of Thomas that he has not accounted for yet.
