Orange is Beautiful: Parallel Lines exhibit convergence in one point perspective - simple geometry becomes simply dynamic. Ship-to-Shore — The zigzag zipper-like orange-red girders of Waterfront Station’s long gantry overpass bridge (above railway tracks) connects SeaBus ferries to commuter trains, SkyTrains, busses & city streets. Once upon a time, (1977-1985) SeaBus ferries were painted a bright nautical hazard orange. [👉🏼 final slide] “The Seventies live on, baby!” ••• Considering all the changes system wide throughout the MetroVan transit system it’s refreshing to see one part of the 1970’s that still lives on with all its glory. I adore this pedestrian concourse — it’s beautifully lit — and I live the deep warmth of luxuriante chocolate browns, amber/ochre & fiery crimson.
