Orphegel is a musical archetype making part of the various themes related to the World Legacy monsters, and thus sharing some of their options. The build won't mind disposing Orphegels to the Graveyard, as most of their interactions are in there by being banished and providing us additional summons for our setups. Not only that, but the Link Monsters leading the archetype will use their effects by retrieving those banished monsters, allowing us to cycle between using monsters as materials and for costs but also feeding their lead monsters' abilities. Including the options related with World Legacy, Orphegel debuted recently yet have all the options to quickly dominate the board.
"Orphegel Orchestrion" is the boss monster of the archetype, taking full advantage of not only its archetype but the gimmicks featured in Link Monsters. While linked with another monster, "Orchestrion" will become invulnerable against battles and destructive effects. Additionaly, after retrieving three banished monsters back to our Deck, "Orchestrion" will erase all the stats and effects of any enemy monsters pointed by its arrows. Overall a powerful creature capable of not only resist many threats, but also break through opponent's best monsters to deal clean damage as retrieves some of our key monsters in the process.
With a Link-4 to work with "Orchestrion" might seem a difficult task to achieve, but due the Graveyard interactions of its archetype is far easier to Link Summon than it looks. As cards like "Orphegel Einsatz" and "Orphegel Prime" disposes of its members for various benefits, we will follow with its Graveyard abilities to summon monsters from several areas of the game. While Orphegels' effects will restrict us arround DARK Machines said demerit will only apply after their activation, so we can still mix along other monsters such as Lightsworn to mill our Decks and obtain their abilities and others as soon as possible. Let's not forget that Orphegel is related to the World Legacy, not only sharing some of their options but also allowing them to obtain valuable materials like "World Legacy - "World Crown"" and "World Legacy - "World Scepter"" among others. Let's not forget the chance to use other Link Monsters to shorcut the arrival of "Orchestrion" with their ratings, specially archetype members like "Orphegel Galatea" and "Orphegel Longirus" providing their respective effects as well retrieving other banished monsters in the process. Don't miss any chances in late game to revive "Orchestrion", as although might nullify half of its arrows by being summoned in the Main Monster Zone it can as still use the upper arrows towards the Extra Monster Zone(s).
With destruction immunity and an effect that can break through resiliant fields, "Orchestrion" won't take too long to cause big trouble towards the opponent. Thanks to the mentioned options to summon materials, the same will go to provide "Orchestrion" monsters to work along and obtain its defensive effects as soon as possible. Otherwise, pointing opponent's monsters will suffice for "Orchestrion" to become tough to take down by common means. The weakening effect of "Orchestrion" might cause lethal damage under the right timing, as by erasing stats and effects of any linked enemy monsters pretty much will assure our win specially with cards like "Limiter Removal" assisting it (As well ignoring its destructive demerit in most cases). Retrieving banished monsters is not just some sort of cost to weaken monsters but also a way to recover them, and although returning to our Deck it shouldn't take long to be back in action with the use of searching and/or milling effects. Recovering banished monsters isn't limited to Orphegels, so to assure the ability of "Orchestrion" under any circumstances we can banish other monsters as we use them for cards like "Dark Armed Dragon" or "Levionia the Primordial Chaos Dragon" among others.
Despite the recent debut of its archetype, "Orphegel Orchestrion" has all the resources to become a dangerous boss monster right from early game. No matter if accompanied with other monsters or pointing the opponent's, "Orchestrion" shouldn't take long to gain immunity against most destructive sources. And with not only 3000 ATK but also the assistance of staple Machine cards like "Limiter Removal", "Orchestrion" will take great advantage of its weakening effect to itself and/or other monsters deal clean damage. But while overall seems that "Orchestrion" can become one of the most devastating monsters to battle with, its heavy reliance on linking monsters with its arrows makes it very field dependant in addition of requiring a good number of banished monsters for its peak performance. Yet, despite not becoming the best choice in most scenarios, "Orphegel Orchestrion" is a dangerous monster if the opponent isn't careful where they place their monsters.
+ Gains protection against destructive sources while pointing a monster
+ Retrieves banished monsters as removes the stats and effect of opponent's linked monsters
+ Easy to summon
+ Strong finisher potential
- Very dependant of banished monsters and monsters' location on the field
- Remains immune to non-destructive effects
