After getting up a 3am to drive to the coast only to be met with the most insane fog I've ever seen! Traffic was easy. Moved several times and met several groups of people that made the journey even more memorable. Finally moved back toward Portland to a sunny spot and got the best shots I could. My lens falls short of what is needed but I had a great time trying. Totality and the Diamond Ring were awe inspiring and worth every second. It really does serve as a reminder of the miracle of the Universe. On the way home Googlemaps zig zagged me across half of Oregon along with several hundred others. It even took us off-roading onto a dirt road. But... it did bypass an extra hour of traffic. Grateful for such a fun day of adventure chasing Totality.
