Hello All,
This is a quick recap of my disappearance over the past few months. Starting at the beginning of August I set fourth on my adventures. The beginning of this year I was not a happy camper. I was caught up in the daily struggles of finding myself, finding sunshine in each day and overall just being happy. I made it a point to change that and start chasing things I believed would help me like furthering my education and connecting with people on a higher level. It worked.
I bought a ticket to Oregon Eclipse Gathering and enrolled in the Permaculture Course for two weeks prior to the event. This experience was magnificent and eye opening, let alone I made a new family of friends from my classmates. Shortly after I planned to head down to Northern California to help on an Earthship build volunteering. Spent almost two weeks in the woods and closed the home in for the winter. Once again meeting a group of individuals who I connected with on another level. I of course ran shy of funds to make it out to my next destination of Alabama to volunteer on another Earthship build. So I did what I do best, went home and worked a full week and stacked up enough cash to get back on the road. Spent two weeks in the woods of Alabama building, getting the home ready for the rainy season. This build was the highlight of my adventures as I was able to see so much of the process and learned a ton. Walked away from that build feeling very accomplished and knowledgeable about building my own house one day.
Near the end of that build one of my classmates from the Permaculture Course invited me to work at his landscaping company. Paid top dollar for my work and a quick day of climbing before hand made it quite enjoyable. Running around the country was fun, I headed back home via the southern region. Stopped in Texas to see family before returning back to Colorado. On my way back up I even stopped at another Earthship build for a couple days. This one was already built but needed some TLC and I plan to go back and help out more.
Finally back home and can start the planning of my next chapter in life. Thanks for tuning in and I’ll be posting some fun pictures here before to long.
what a treat to witness
