what gyms do they have in utah? i’m looking to challenge all of them, and want to make sure i don’t miss any!
There's currently 21 gyms in Utah, so you'll need to be prepared for a long challenge! You might find it easier to challenge the Utah League first, which consists of the eight main gyms in the state. Those are:
Salt Lake City's normal-type gym, which is the biggest gym in the state and one of the biggest normal-type gyms in the country. Its leader uses a Tauros and Miltank in a double battle format.
Provo's flying-type gym, where trainers face off against an expertly trained Gliscor caught in the nearby mountains.
Ogden's steel-type gym, fought in a replica of a 19th-century train car; once you reach the end, you'll come face-to-face with the strongest Klinklang in the state.
Logan's water-type gym, where challengers are greeted at the entrance by a horde of Wooper and Quagsire and must fight their way through a puzzle all while dodging Mud Shots.
Park City's ice-type gym, located in a peaceful-looking cabin on the side of a mountain. This is widely considered the easiest gym of the league, and it's common for people stopping by to ski to battle it and pick up a new gym badge.
Orem's psychic-type gym, one of the newest in Utah; the gym leader here uses a combination of Drowzee and Hypno to put his opponent's Pokemon to sleep.
Moab's ground-type gym, with a constantly-rotating schedule of gym leaders depending on the season. In the summer, you'll find a more "international" focus, with the leader using Pokemon from abroad like Rhyperior and Donphan.
St. George's dragon-type gym, the capstone of the league. Renowned for his mighty Salamence, this gym leader is widely considered the best in Utah and can take down even the toughest of trainers.
