i turn 18 today so have cute little eurymene child (orestis) because i wanted to draw the little guy :]

(he stole a fish out of a barrel on the ship oblivious to the fact that it was dead, eventually it rotted, then slid entirely off of its bone <3)

It's finally official! 😁 My second book HYBRIS is ready to purchase online on kindle and on physical copy from Amazon.

ο μύθος του Ορέστη , σαρκοφάγος, 130-138 μ. Χ , ύψος 80 εκ ,μήκος 2,12μ Cleveland Museum of Art 

Στη συγκεκριμένη σαρκοφάγο εικονίζονται σκηνές από την Ορέστεια. Ο Ορέστης, ο γιος του Αγαμέμνονα και της Κλυταιμήστρας, πήρε διαταγή από τον Απόλλωνα να εκδικηθεί τον φόνο του πατέρα του, να σκοτώσει δηλαδή τη μητέρα του και το δεύτερο της σύζυγο, Αίγισθο, που σφετερίστηκε το θρόνο του Αγαμέμνονα στο Αργος. Δεξιά, Ο Ορέστης βρίσκεται στους Δελφούς ,όπως δηλώνει η παρουσία του τρίποδα, και προχωρεί προσεκτικά με γυμνό ξίφος πάνω από το σώμα μιας Ερινύας που κρατά δάδα και φίδι. Στο αριστερό άκρο της παράστασης τρεις Εινύες κοιμούνται δίπλα στο τάφο του Αγαμέμνονα , η μια κρτατά τον πέλεκυ με τον οποίο η Κλυταιμήστρα σκότωσε τον άνδρα της. Στο κέντρο εκτυλίσσεται  ο διπλός φόνος. Ο Αίγισθος πέφτει νεκρός με το κεφάλι προς τα κάτω και ο Ορέστης κρατώντας το ξίφος του τραβά από το σώμα του το βασιλικό ένδυμα. Η τροφός δίπλα του αποστρέφει το πρόσωπο της από τη βίαιαη σκηνή. Λίγο δεξιότερα ο Ορέστης εικονίζεται πάνω από το νεκρό σώμα της Κλυταιμήστρας, που κείτεται με το στήθος γυμνό. Την τελευταία στιγμή είχε προσπαθήσει να μεταπείσει το γιο της δείχνοντας του το μητρικό στήθος. Ενας υπηρέτης από πίσω προσπαθεί να προστατευτεί, ενώ πίσω από το κρεμασμένο ύφασμα του κοιτώνα εμφανίζονται 2 Ερινύες. Ο Ορέστης θα σωθεί οριστικά από την καταδίωξη των Ερινύων μετά τη δίκη του στην Αθήνα και την αθωωτική ψήφο της Αθηνάς.

Meet my HYBRIS book characters

Boss (Stratos): CEO of the Elysian company, stoick, calculated, observing. He's in his 40s

Calliope (27): a woman with an old soul, a romantic for life, as she often struggles with loneliness, her purpose in life, and her future. She's also aroace

Helen (27): Calliope's friend and colleague, she's a beautiful young woman who's hidden desires often get hidden by her people pleasing nature.

Orestis (27): old friend and classmate of both Helen and Calliope, Orestis is a man of few words but his thoughts are a maze in itself as is his character. But you know what the say about characters like him..
