Taking a page out of Ajita's book and doing my hair and makeup nice and pretty for my LAST EXAM EVER!!!!!!

Today's just one of the those days where I need to take a step back and remind myself of all the progress I've made.

The photo on the right is me at my highest weight, where I was eating unhealthy, and hated my body. My bulimia wouldn't manifest itself for another two years, but still, my struggles with body image go back as far as I can remember.

The photo on the left is me after a weight loss journey of 17 kgs (37 lbs) and (finally) dedicating myself to recovery from my eating disorder. I am nowhere near where I want to be, but I am proud of myself for learning to love myself enough to choose recovery day in and day out.

I definitely couldn't have done it without these lovely ladies funeralformyfat, aubernutter, and organically-gorgeous inspiring me to love myself and never, ever give up.

To all of you out there struggling with any sort of eating disorder, I can't promise you it's gonna be easy, but I can promise you that it will be worth it <3
