my experience with being aromatic asexual has been… i don’t know, weird? cause all my life i was just sitting here, aware that romantic and sexual attraction exists, but it never sunk in that i was “supposed” to feel that? my friends have had crushes and talked about them around and to me, but they never judged me or anything about never having one.

i’ve been kissed before (that’s a funnyish story i think) and also forcibly outed to my parents (that, is definitely not a fun story) but i’m just really happy to be queer i think. it’s nice to find a community of people who are like me and understand me has been so incredibly wonderful

i think it helps that a bunch of my friends turned out to be queer, like a genuinely surprising number of them. i somehow found a decent amount of the queer people in my grade to befriend and i’m here for it honestly. and all my mutuals and online friends!! i started to feel again and while that’s been overwhelming sometimes, i would take that over the numbness any day of the week

Ok so small update: I’m adjusting the lore for Earthbound Stars to be less focused on greek mythology. i don’t feel comfortable trying to write something like this about an existing mythology. it will still be (heavily) inspired by the greek mythos, but not so directly referencing it. It still takes place in Greece and i’ll have plenty of references to that myth, but it feels incredibly wrong currently to alter the personalities of the gods in the way i write
