Origin Archive Entry 05 — Hail to the King

“Evil Sonic. Anti-Sonic, old news. The real hotness is a real Scourge.”

Yo, so I could not WAIT to do this Sonic The Hedgehog Collection and draw Scourge. I've drawn a keychain design for him in the past about two/three years ago, but THIS one is the design that I kept because I feel like I finally captured his vibe and look that I wanted.

This character design for him exists in my own Alternate Universe Sonic the Hedgehog Zone Series that you can read on Archive of Our Own! Scourge has always been my favorite Sonic character and the first Sonic comic I owned was actually Scourge's debut when he goes green from the Sonic Archie Comic days! As a kid, purely coincidence, the first comic I borrowed from the library was Scourge's appearance in the Classic Sonic comics! How wild is that?

So, I captured that wild and rebellious energy into this design.

Origin Archive Entry 03 — The Wings of Resolve

“The Cleaners… were formed to solve the mysteries of our world!”

This keychain was drawn about a year going on two years ago now. I drew this originally before Gachiakuta got an anime and his colors were released, so that's why his clothes are in black and white. It still looks dope to me and I'll probably revisit this design and rework his colors to match his canon-anime/manga ones (now that they are released) in a later batch. But he's one of my favorite characters besides Enjin and Jabber that got me drawn into Gachiakuta in the beginning.

I like that Corvus isn’t loud. He doesn’t need to be. His power is quiet--and I sealed that spirit in every line and shine of his charm — a reminder that leadership is light, even in the dirtiest of worlds.
