Here is another original character of mine. I was trying out a new art program. It works well, especially with my PC (that's very old and very slow). I want to post her story along with all the other characters from her story, including Lou (pink hair) and Alex (red hair), though I'm not going to be doing it anytime soon. I want to finish some of my other projects (i.e. After the war) before I start doing a BIG one.

Maybe A Comic Series?

Heyo everyone! So, yes I do plan on making a comic series... but it's planned to be based on my game. Mainly because I got the idea that not everyone would like to play games, but some could be interested in the story. It may also be seen as a walkthrough of it in a small way? Probably not because there will be differences and it may branch differently.

The AKIRA Project

Below the cut is an idea I recently had around a potential comic book series/graphic novel series I kind of want to work on. I hope to save this idea for the Drawing the Graphic Novel class I intend to take in the future. If you are interested in listening to my rant, feel free to keep reading! If not-- well, you've been warned.

I'd want to do it in a very stylized manner-- akin to the Disney-Pixar stylization. Something fun, but kind of simple... A futuristic setting-- some crazy future year like 2053 or like 2353 or some such. Picture if you will, something like Aperture Labs from Portal mixed with the Spaceschip Colony in WALL-E. The focus would be on our heroine, AKIRA-- an illegal experimental robot called "Machina Espiritum", which are a strange sort of "organic robot". They are sort of lab built/grown to, essentially, be super humans...a blend of man and machine injected with a sort of soul-essence of humanity called Espiritum or Breath of Life. AKIRA has been raised in the lab her whole life by a figure she only knows as MOTHER- the scientist who has spent their entire life making AKIRA. However, upon exposure of the experiments, AKIRA must be destroyed. BUT, she is released instead by MOTHER, who does not want to see her hard work be destroyed...Fleeing the labs into a world she has never seen before, AKIRA is struck by a hover-car, she is taken in by an inspiring robotics engineer (also the one that happens to hit her with their hover-car). AKIRA would be an exploration of humanity and what it is to be alive/ to have a soul, and what can happen when humanity tries to play God. As well, about the true bonds of what love and family really are-- that it is not who creates you, but who loves you that makes a real family. 

I actually even have a voice sort of in mind.... My headcanon voice being the Robin voice character on Cepstral.com with either the Old Robot or PVC Pipe filter.... Ugh! So much potential...I really hope to work on this someday!
