The Blade of the Diamonds

This is Moonstone, I designed her for my wife @lunarchandelure! Moonstones are deadly assassins, meant for utter stealth and quick jobs--get in, murder, get out. This Moonstone faces high expectations, forced into a fast-paced life with little room for mistakes. She is a tool and blade, nothing more. If you managed to see her coming before you died/were shattered, you'd know the Diamonds personally wanted you dead. This particular Moonstone might be seen coming because I went overboard on the sparkles hahaha. Good thing all the Dumortierite quartzes are off duty and resting in their cubbies!

created her literally today and i love herrrrrrrr

Cat’s Eyes specialize in searching and locating; their superior senses make it extremely easy for them to track and find things. They’re used for scouting and battle (they detect the enemy and any dangers that may be hidden. They’re also quite acrobatic)

Cat’s Eyes tend to come of as somewhat feral. This specific Cat’s Eye is PARTICULARLY feral lol

It’s Turquoise YEAAAAAHHHH

He’s actually a perma-fusion of two different Turquoises. (I think making same gem perma-fusions is underrated… I mean yea it’s not as interesting as different gem fusions lol but cmon aaa)

Anyway… Turquoises are like advisers to higher ranking Gems. They rank below Auquamarines but above Lapis Lazulis.

One of this Turquoise’s gems worked under an Emerald, the other worked under a Garnet.

I was thinking Sulphur (an original gem of mine) could emit bad smells when she’s anxious, since actual sulphur smells very, very bad irl

Drew Sulphur again, I really like her tbh I thought about her powers, and I think “geokinesis” (apparently that’s a word) would fit her well. It’s the power of manipulating earth and terrain. That’s purely hypothetical cause I don’t know if I’m gonna start any project with that gem, but Sulphurs’ role on Homeworld was to terraform planets, like Lapis Lazulis. They used to create mountains, volcanoes, basalt columns and various rock formations. The reason why I chose that power is because sulphur is found in volcanic areas, which are the product of tectonic phenomenons.

 A very important and powerful gem of Pink's court, with psychic powers capable of reading minds and shapeshifting in fun things. But this one ended up going crazy when the rebellion started, she started to get aggressive and having fun poofing and scaring the rebel gems, using her powers to do evil things, but when Pink was shatter, she went completely crazy having to be bubbled for the safety of everyone

Her weapon it's floating balls that hypnotize anyone who looks directly, causing the victim float too.

I have never designed an original Gem before, but since I was going to introduce her in a Fanfiction soon, I thought it was better to draw her out for all to see.

So, meet Sodalite everyone. I was gonna give her lighter skin, but I ended up really liking the dark blue, plus, I didn’t want her skin color to look too similar to Lapis. I may tweet the color scheme a tiny bit in future illustrations, but for now, this is how she is. Enjoy!
