Shen Jiu goes back to the beginning and decides to change his fate in the pettiest way possible.

He spreads rumors that both he and Liu Qingge will be in the caves so there are actually Qian Cao disciples there to help them with their qi deviations. He offers the emperor some fancy relic or art piece in exchange for just moving the conference to a week later so Yue Qingyuan is actually at the sect during the demon invasion and it makes him look better too.

He gets on all his students asses for daring to think they could pick his peak just to coast by. That the arts were the 'easy' option on the mountain. Berates all of them for not having a head for strategy and threatens to throw them all out and just start over with better disciples, or worst sent them to An Ding since they just want to be lazy and do nothing as cultivators. He calls out Lou Binghe for winning the fight, saying that he was surprised when it seemed all he was good for was crying after getting bullied and never reporting the fake manual. He then turns on Ming Fan and calls him out on going through with giving Binghe the false manual and being a pathetic sycophant instead of having the spine of a future peak lord.

He goes to the Warm Red Pavilion publicly and enjoys several performances there. And when people start scoffing at him the girls there all say 'well he is a master of the arts, of course he comes to see us perform' and then begin tacking on how the actual shame lies in the fact a righteous sect allows themselves to be caught in such baseless rumors. How the supposed oh so honorable war god dragged his martial sibling from a music recital, calling him all those horrible things for doing his job. The girls on their own time also go after QQQ, calling her out for being the women's rights peak but now it's noble women only.

Also new wards are set up that catch a demon portalling in and Qinghua gets booted out for being a traitor. The rumor mongering gets called out as does the fact that Huan Hua is using this schism to gather intel and attempt to make people lose faith in the sect so they can reap the benefits. Shen Jiu is already working on digging up reports of his lechery and finding out some things about TLJ in the process.

Been thinking about genderfluid diciple sqh on qian Cao

I think someone should write about this

And like sqq(sj) refusing to go to qian Cao because(not completely because tho) a lot of the medics there are men and he would most likely be treated by either his shidi who he perceives as a man or the qian Cao peak lord who IS a man

So like sj is refusing treatment and sqh decides to just like change gender on the spot

This doesn't actually work but it keeps sj stunned long enough to see how bad his wounds are

Most people don't even know sqh is genderfluid because

1:she usually avoids people

2:she typically presents more masculine

3:his shizun didn't make a big deal about it

4:the people on the peak purposely don't tell others because they find it funny

Mqf is still on the peak but because he's not head diciple he gets sent on more missions and like cures multiple diseases(many of which may or may have not been future wife plots)

Or alternatively mqf IS head diciple and sqh helps him out a lot

They could also co-operate the peak

Ok I didn't mean for this to get so long but endgame would eventually be either scumplane or mushang

Oh and QCsqh would like get the original goods sqh to work together with them for plants from the demonic realm

Still thinking about shen jiu getting cat instincts with cat ears and tail, and every time he fights LQG, he wiggles his body like a kitty meow 😾 before attacking, weilding his fan and xiu ya on both hands.

Can I just say that the amount of potential, of room mxtx left us in svsss to just make up shit from the ‘original novel’ by barely mentioning it in passing, or hinting at the possibility of things existing… she created perfectly free license for fanfic authors to just go apeshit making up whatever they want to? Because it’s 100% possible according to cannon??? Some may see it as lack of world building, but she’s literally using it to make fun of authors that either don’t world build or overdo it and dig themselves into plot holes? All the while giving us the building blocks of her world to arrange however we please while assuring us that there’s no wrong way to do it?
