Canarystar and Zinniabone find evidence that the Beasts are starting to move down into the tunnels, more-so the tunnels where the dead were moved along. Sunsight worries the graveyard will be robbed of the Twoleg corpses they use to gather bone and tan the hides of. Canarystar promises to blockade and fortify any other entrances, other than the one the clan uses.

While on the surface gathering goldenrods and poppies, Sunsight is stopped in his paws by a deer.

A stag, tall and imposing, a deep, unnatural shade of purple. But the head... Dear Starclan, its head is of a wolf! Sunsight presses low to the ground as the not-deer notices him, and slowly lowers its massive head. The horns of the beast tangle into the flowering plants and gently uproots them, and with one graceful shake, dislodge at Sunsight's quivering paws.

"Not everything of the Other Side of Reality you see is malicious." It says, without moving its lips. Sunsight slowly stands. "I am Tali-Vaal, God of Death and Harvest." It smiles at Sunsight and takes a single poppy head with a hoof and holds it to its muzzle. "... Gardening is just like being a god. Remember that the next time you go to harvest. I will not force it of you, but sacrificing one of your crop each harvest will keep you in great favor."

"... I do not worship you." Sunsight mews before he can bite his tongue.

"And I force you not. The Calamity has already provided me with enough flock to make a true God weep with joy." It places the poppy behind the wolf ear it has. Sunsight blinks and notices it has four pairs and three eyes. "Take care, and do not stay long. Once the ab... once the Beasts know you're here, they'll flock here to eat you whole." And with that, it pronks away into the Sulfur Mine Territory.

Sunsight brings back the goldenrods and poppy seeds, and tells nobody of what he's seen.

I love my Stardew Valley oc so much it's unreal. His skin is grey cuz his parents were part of a colloidal silver cult (womp womp) & he's really tall & lanky & super sun-sensitive (womp womp) so he lives mostly nocturnally. So in the valley after he moves in he's seen as a cryptid sorta figure. & he's very quiet & soft-spoken so the people in the valley who do end up meeting him think he's really sweet but cuz everyone who hasnt met him is somewhat scared of him he's just lonely living in the secluded little farmer's cabin (then he meets Sebastian & they become besties & then someone catches feelings.... I'm glad this is anonymous cuz I'm so embarrassed abt this lol)
