Yes, this blog was a true account of my experiences, thoughts, and feelings on the matter. It wasn’t an RP blog.
It’s also in the past, so I have very little to offer in the way of advice these days, I’m afraid. I was never very involved in the community at the time, never mind now that I’ve stopped using tumblr for quite some time.
Back in the day it was always the advice to just make friends and be the kind of person people would want to play with, rather than trying to force the issue; hypnotists are people too and they don’t owe you anything.
I honestly have no idea what the community is like here these days, though; between tumblr’s crackdown the other year and my subsequent departure.
I wish you luck, though; it was my third most fun thing to do.
