Have some trinity stone too, and me getting squished by the inconsiderate assholes in front of me who put their seats aaaaaaaaall the way back for the entire 9 hour flight. My favorite.

and that this is my new otp.
also did i get your hair right lolol i creeped around all your blogs don't yell at me haha ; )
because i like to make sense in my spare time
ugh. The only reason I severely dislike writing about my characters is because, with characters like Ares (who exists in 3 separate story lines at 3 different ages: 5, 15 and 25) I never know which freaking tense to write in. O|—<
seriously. Let’s take a moment and observe. below the cut line of course. because this is about to get ridiculously long.
Between all the stories I’ve been working on, there’s 5 separate timelines that don’t go anywhere near crossing each other. Trinity Stone hosts the first, which predates all the other lines by an infinite number of years (kind of like, in a modern/real context, if there had been an super advanced civilization before Mesopotamia kicked off, which, as far as I’m concerned, isn’t true, but just for the sake of comparison.) (and even still, there’s like 3 generations of characters within TS but that’s for another time.)Then there’s the general time slot where Ethesis and E.O.L. fall together, (Ethesis more comparable to Anicent Rome, if you will, and as long as we’re on this track, E.O.L as the opening sequence of the middle ages. Except not, because then nothing happens between E.O.L and everything else, and existence of…well, anything ceases until enough time has passed that the existence of Ethesis becomes a myth.) Then, as I just said, comes basically everything else, aka the 7 stories that exclusively take place on the same strand of time in Anryms. But then comes the problem characters, like Ares over here, and everyone that’s affiliated with him because, as I said above, he exists in several different stories (much like a handful of my other characters) that span over very different periods of time. If anyone’s still reading this by the way, drop me a message and I’ll draw you a picture because I love you for reading through all my incoherent brain vomit. But anywho, during the time frame in which all of the other 7 stories take place, Ares is a 5 year old sack of derp who plays soccer and that’s about it. 10 years later, he’s found his way to Tea Town and onto the derptastic S-Team, and then has to deal with all the stupid shit that’s thrown at him. Now here’s the curveball, he exists one more time, another 10 years later, or whenever 2nd gen of S-Team is running rampant.
I think the point is…my characters from Trinity Stone for example. I’ve planned their story down to a tee. Even the backstory’s backstory is grossly detailed. Hell, the epilogue is starting to get more detailed than the story itself. But the thing is, when I refer to those characters and their story, it’s as if the story has already happened, so I can easily refer to those things in the past tense, and their ‘present’ is somewhere amidst the nebulous abyss that is everything after the end of the story, and even after certain things have happened in the epilogue.
But with Ares, each of those 3 parts of his life are still in the process of being figured out, so it feels weird to say that one day he’ll get along with Adel when I already know that Ares is much more mild mannered at 25 and that, yeah, at that point in his life, they totally get along.
I think I need to like. Assign years and dates to things that happen in this ridiculous world of mine. And like time periods or something.
Is this what historians feel like.
Hugs and you know what else if you made it all the way through that. Seriously, let me kiss you come here *3*
spiked hair appreciation page. ok it was on the same spread as the last (and of course by last i mean next because i made a stupid with my queue) post so it was more like spiked hair appreciation spread. i was also having the biggest art block on this planet at the doodles closest to the bottom so i'm surprised those turned out even mildly acceptable.
I love all my ocs
