Okay so the Scriddler hyperfixation has hit me and I may have achieved the ultimate off topic au. Scirddler relatives au. (No incest) Aka I give Edward and Jonathan orginal siblings/relatives and then write the most toxic, not domestic-domestic romance I could of percieved. So let's meet them: Nate 'Nashy' Nashton. The older brother to Edward Nygma and Jenni Naston (Basically Susan Nashton from Rouges! The podcast, but I got the name confused and prefer mine.). Abigail Keeny. The distant cousin of Jonathan Crane. Yes I know Jonathan has a sister but the age difference wouldn't work for me. In this au Marion Keeny (Jon's Grandmother) has a younger brother, who was disgraced because of something or another. That younger brother is Abigail's grandfather. --------------------------------------- The Nashton siblings are all genius (unlike their father), Nashy's no exception. Nashy himself is the creative writting Proffeser at Gotham University. As for his credentials, he's a doctor of Philosophy in creative writting and has a major in Analytics. He's a favourite amoung the universities students due to his eccentric teaching style , paternal vibe, and general energy (They're are betting poles among the students on when he's going to arkham though.). Nobody ever calls him Dr Nashton though, mostly because those that are aware of Edward's original name get so scared when they hear it (the mere idea of the Riddler with a PHD is terrifying). His best friend is the campus nurse. Abigail is a legal consultant and investigatour at a large firm. She also works an out of compass consultant for the universitys Law course. Most of the faculty and students believe her to be a stubborn, will-full and intelligent bastard. She doesn’t tend to stick around the campus but is a good friend of the campus nurse. She and Professor Nashy don't get along and despite her efforts Abigail never gets the last laugh. (The students ship them together viciously) ------------------------------------------
Nashy struggles with EID (Explosive Intermittent Disorder) and is some where on the schizophrenic spectrum (and like the rest of the family, undiagnosed autism). He also has the general disphora common of a trans man. Nashy loves both his siblings but lost contact with them years ago. This was due to their father, Jackie Nashton, having sent him to a conversion camp. He managed to escape but was lost and unable to find their way home. By the time he arrived home (after a couple of years) Edward had already ran away. This caused a him to develop an Guilt/Suriver complex. He actually moved to Gotham when Eddy died of cancer, hoping to mourn him. Thankfully Eddy came back to life Also underground, possibly tampered with, T and surgery has resulted in some mental problems. Mrs Keeny has both delusions of grander mixed with an Inferiority Complex. She also faces the mental problems common of Intersex people due to continues discrimination. Througout her life Abigail was told of the Keeny family legacy and how they were once one of the richest and most powerful family in the midwest until the Rathaways ruined them. She was constantly put down if she failed in anything and was told the family was in ruin due to her being born the way she was. This sense of privlidge yet faluire only increased when she discovered she was related to the feared and 'succesful' Scarecrow. ------------------------------------- Act 1: Keeny's investigates Nashy, hoping to become famous by sending someone to Arkham. After all, he’s a doctor in Gotham, covered in two large facial scars and needs meds, so of course he's up to something. ....Yeah, yeah he is, Keeny should be scared but then again it's Keeny. Also Keeny can't seem to find any evidence of something happening other than that there has to be something going. Act 2: Nashy blackmails Keeny to stop investigating him, with threats of pinning all his crimes on her and sending her to Arkham. Something he is very capable of doing. All of this done in a police station (no cameras around of course), with Keeny cuffed to the table for assault of Nashy. Their reluctant friendship start to grow (Keeny wakes ups in many problematic situation because she pushes her luck). Act 2.5: Family reunion . The full Family finally meets up. Edward and Jonathan react to what the fuck their relatives have been doing. Act 3: Their friendship starts to bloom. Keeny starts to realise Nashy might actual not being acting when he say he's not interested... Until they have sex in Nashy's office Act 4: Nashy's past (motorbike gangs, baby) catches up with him and he has a mental break down. Keeny accidentally takes advantage of this and Nashy's lack of impulse control. Act 5: Divorce Arch, Make up Arch (Nashy gets kidnapped)
Act 6: Batman copy cat comes to town and Getting Arrested Act 7: Family Meet up again but in Arkham. Act ?: Road trip somewhere --------------------
