~My Chinese Study Planner~
Hi Tumblr! I’ve decided to do a little mini-post for my Chinese study planner. This is my first original content post outside of my regular personal productivity posts, so I’m learning as I go here.
I used Google Sheets to create my planner for a variety of reasons:
I use a Macbook Air, so Excel isn’t super friendly on my computer; I’d rather not download any large softwares if I can avoid it, as my laptop has very limited storage.
Google Sheets is accessible from all my devices, so I can view and edit from my phone (or any device with internet, really) if I want.
I’m already familiar with Google Sheets and its features.
Every row has four days, as that’s the amount of days I could fit in comfortably without having to scroll left and right. It may seem kind of awkward to have four days instead of a full seven in a row, but it makes using the planner easier for me. I also split up the planner by the month as that seems to be by far the best way to avoid cluttered sheets.
Each day is split into two sections: review and new material. I have two cells for each of those sections, as I generally give myself two things to do for review and two things to do for my new material. I try to give myself one vocabulary and one grammar assignment/exercise for both review and for my new material.
So... that’s basically it! This was a pretty short post but it gave me a better idea of how I’m going to navigate making original content in the future.
