Darius, of course, could tell she was looking for a one night stand the very moment they met. While normally, he’d be more than happy to drive her hopes up and kick her out, this time he decides he can make an exception. She’s attractive enough, and his ego is still somewhat bruised from the Bedlington situation. She’ll do for the night.

She’s gone the next morning. Darius can tell she went through his wallet, but nothing is missing from it, except for one expired credit card. It seems, Oriole is one of those ladies who like to keep mementos after an encounter.
