Sunday Forge report: After a couple very long days (and late nights) I got the 'well rail'(the railing around the hole for a spiral staircase) in ahead of the framers (before the hole in the house got too small to get it in easily) in the log home. The hidden hinges worked!! it needs a few tweaks,but nothing we can't do onsite. I left there to go look at the next Log Home job,70' of railing on the deck! (looks like July is log home month at Steel Rose Forge!). The police challenge coins came in,but I don't think they are the right composition to make rings out of (sad face emoji).I'm going to look for one in Silver (our boys in blue deserve the BEST!) I chatted with last weeks LIVE BUILD/GIVEAWAY winner,Shyla Miller, and I'm going to build her a Cowboy hat out of a half dollar to commemorate her late grandfather!. I'm going to suspend the LIVE BUILD/GIVEAWAY this week so I can get some much needed rest. think about how we can nominate law enforcement officers for the giveaway for that in the meantime for me.
