More of an exercise than a proper drawing. I have lately been having issues making material look like how I want it to look, so when OrnamentedBeing posted some fabulous Opera Costumes I fell in love with this one and had to draw it.

UGHHHH I'M SO BAD ABOUT BUYING VINTAGE FABRIC.  I have this really pretty lace print satin from the 50s and I want to make a cute pin-up dress out of it and I really shouldn't have gotten it x.x

I was 12 and it was one of the first times I cursed. I was watching and I suddenly was like WHAT THE HELL HALDIR DOES NOT DIE!!!!! And people were all shush be quiet you annoying child. I was so ANGRY! Haha every time I watch it I still have to turn to whoever is next to me and go "the elves weren't even at bloody helms deep. They were all retiring to the Grey havens by this time. It's only Legolas and the elladen and elrohir. Damn peter jackson."

I was 21. It'd taken a lot for my friend and I to get over the fact that Arwen took Glorfindel's place at the Ford of Bruinen. I mean, Glorfindel is one of a handful of elves still around from the First Age. He SMOTE a BALROG. And you're going to sub Liv Tyler for him? UGH. But I also understood that without appendices in film, you need to give Arwen a bigger presence in order to make people understand why Aragorn chooses her in the end. BUT STILL...

So when one film later we get Haldir dying? TOO MUCH. Also, raise your hand if you wanted to see the Dunedain show up at Helm's Deep and then take their place in the final battles at Pellenor and the Black Gate.

I will admit though, that as angry as I am at Haldir's death, the fact that the elves do this:

I had no idea this belonged to you because I've had you blocked for ages. I found this image on pinterest last month and it had no link backs. I agree watermarking your images is a super idea and you should do that.

Anyway...

I also think that is a great idea to watermark pictures, but even with mark, people is too lazy or disrespectful to give source or link back, dont you think?. Good riddance.
