These pictures are full of joy, love, and happiness. They are tiny moments in the busy, yet exciting life of what high school should be. But today my former classmates and some of my dearest friends spent their school day barricaded in the dark of their own classrooms, hiding from a threat of gun violence. Sitting in fear and uncertainty. We are lucky that they are all safe, but we can no longer be certain of our own safety. I, myself, spent much of the day worried about my friends, my former-teachers and my community that I consider my beloved home. Please, I beg you to call your representatives, move those feet on March 24th and use your voice to speak out, stand up and take action!! #oronoschools #guncontrolNOW #marchforourlives #wearenotsafe (at Orono, Minnesota)
