"Jerk. Sorry. Father Jerk."
- what happens when your friends become priests.
Thinking during Matins that you had forgotten your wife’s Name Day, then hearing with relief “...of Rome.” Love ya, Babe.
That moment when a non-Orthodox asks you how long a service is going to be, and you tell him an end time with a shrug, and that time passed half an hour ago...and that time was already going to make it a two and a half hour long service... (I got permission for my wife instead of me so she could experience it, so I’m home with the kid while she’s there, and she’s not home yet, so the non-Orthodox student who asked me earlier about the Vigil tonight may be none-too-happy with me...)
HAPPY WESTERN EASTER!!
I'm Greek Orthodox so our EASTER isn't for another week. It's Palm Sunday for me. But regardless, have a joyful Easter! Christ has risen (almost, but not yet)!!!
Everyone tomorrow will be like happy easter
And I am just gonna sit here like "I'll just wait another week..."
Christmas isn't technically over for me? Like, I celebrate it January 7th? Do people not know that there are other days that people celebrate holidays on? I'm just so surprised at all the Christmas is over posts- though I know I shouldn't be but still.
