@rpeeze
water and art are similar in that i need both of them to live but 99% of the time i forget and then wonder why i feel vaguely awful
YES OMG BRĆNNHILDE
And they sat the Government doesnāt do anything important.
where's that picture that ruined my life
found it
girl dad not as in a dad with daughters but as in a girl who shares the tastes habits and personality traits of a middle aged father
every day should be like i wake up & my first thought is a beautiful idea of a fun & new activity & i spend my day accomplishing it
i do want to live like them like so bad
i am extremely well-adjusted and mentally healthy as long as nothing goes wrong ever at all even a little bit
hey i know i asked for constructive criticism but what i actually wanted was for you to tell me i'm extremely talented. and also pretty. sorry if that was unclear
one of the worst irl debuffs is "something in the kitchen smells weird but you cant find it". you have to just do the rituals and hope for the best (taking out the trash, boiling water down the sink, look for lost potatoes etc)
an acquaintance told me i had the subtle guardedness of someone who ālearned social skills the hard wayā and iād honestly have much preferred they took out a gun and shot me
worst part about getting angry is how much it makes you want to be mean
sorry i said something dickish. a few mildly frustrating things happened to me in succession and it turned me evil
*booking an mri* what if I accidentally have a pacemaker. what if I got secret bone surgery and forgot about the pins
character in a movie: Oh no, angry dog, please donāt bite me!
the dog: Iām at work! Iām doing so good at being at work! Iām barking because my handler gave the sign ābarkā! I am going to get such a good grade in being a dog actor, which is completely possible to achieve, and normal to want! I am doing a great job! I am proud of myself for doing such a great job! I love this, because Iād make it physically impossible to get anything done if I wasnāt enjoying it! Iām barking!
I love seeing dogs and wolves in movies because theyāre acting so viciousĀ but also their tails are wagging so hard unless the post-processing guys specifically edited out the tails (which is slightly less obvious but also hilarious in a different way once you spot it).
This is why I love the dog in the original casting of The Thing so damn much. I have never seen an acting dog move with such a deliberate, calm intent. It was like every single motion and gesture this animal made was intentional.
Apparently, according to the behind-the-scenes documentation, this dog was just fuckin like that. Almost never, if at all, looked at the camera crews and production teams. Never excitedly wagged his tail on set no matter how much of a good boy he was being. If he did, it was the same⦠deliberate motions.
His name was Jed, and even though heās a dog, he deserves an oscar. He was an exceptionally good boy.
Jed also played the role of White Fang in the 90s Disney film version!
I honestly canāt imagine a better portrayal of a stoic, aloof White Fang, who gradually softens, than Jed.Ā Good boy.
That dog knows his job, and knows heās damn good at it, and knows heās probably better at his job than his coworkers.
That dog was delivering straight up Shakespearean performances, and he probably was saddled with human coworker who had to make use of such unprofessional things as second takes.
My condolences, Jed, my condolences.
