can we get some non-roman italic positivity? im oscan, my grandparents spoke oscan but our culture has been almost entirely supplanted by roman cultural imperialism. i only speak latin and our language and community are dying out :(

Revive Oscan (ask your grandparents to teach you). Resist the Italo-Roman hegemony. Until then I cannot count you among the oppressed rather than the oppressors since you’ve assimilated to Latin ways.
