it's clear that the nashville writers did not do their research when it came to buck and eddie but oliver and ryan went all in and fully committed to the goofy as shit moments (buck barking and smashing energy drinks, eddie's "honky tonk" bit). they didn't caaaaare, they knew this was dumb and silly and they just said fuck it okay. but then they gave us nothingggg when it came to the out of character lines. buck's "i'm sold 😐" with zero enthusiasm etc just beautiful work
