Over the last month or so I've gotten a lot more interest in my writing and the world building I do so I thought I'd try and make a proper for my setting. These are just the basics but I think I cover the important parts
Calia
The world of Calia is founded on balance. For every evil in the world there is good and for every good there is evil. The primordials the creators of the universe are
Anu: primordial of law, sky, and purity
Marianus: primordial of the sea, prophecy, and wrath
Nyx: primordial of the night, protection, and knowledge
Nairobai: primordial of nature, families, and compassion
Terracora: primordial of the earth, tradition, and crafting
The Un-Named one: primordial of death, and judgment
The Empire of Glawveria the chosen holy land of the primordials is ruled by the divinely chosen Ascariot family. Always ruled by brother and sister twins. One touched by the positive energy of life, and the other by the negative energy of entropy. The twins rule in balance of each other as the mouth piece of both the primordials to the mortals. But also of the mortals to the primordials.
Balance
Calia enacts balance not on a small scale but across the planet.
Life & death
The world reacts to life & death in Calia's ancient history hordes of undead used to roam across the world in hoards. But also armies of monsters and savage mindless monsters seemed to pour out of caves and the forests of the world.
When there is too much death in a single location undead will rise from the ground to rot and destroy the world of the living. As such the dead are sent to a local necropolis where the cryptfolk tend the corpses and keep the dead at rest.
While the places in the world where life is abundant. Dungeons grow. A entry way into a sentient demi plane. Their entrances blend in seamlessly into their surroundings. But as these dungeons age they expand and mindless monsters begin to spawn inside them like vermin. Initially trapped within its halls these monsters will eventually breach the confines and surge out into the surrounding world.
Religion:
The primary religion of the world is the Chantry of the Makers. Venerating the primordials. The cosmology of the universe is simplified from most dnd style settings.

God's
There are many God's of Calia The children of the Primordials while supremely powerful beings. They are still the children of the creators of the universe. And while powerful they cannot simply make and remake the world as their parents can.
Planar travel
While the planes are known to exist travel between the planes is both rare and incredibly difficult. With very few able to achieve it.
Bodam city
Bodam city is the capital of the world. The largest single city on the planet. Blessed with access to the Elemental planes and the primordials direct influence the city is a post scarcity city meant to be a becon of what mortal kind can achieve. But every light casts a shadow. Bodam has a under city. Controlled chaos, where the surface has strict law enforcement plentiful food and resources. The under city is cramped and dangerous. Ruled by gangs and is a constant war zone of the gangs struggling to exist.
The acceptance of good & evil
In the world of calia morality can be dramatically different than our world. Murder circuses cam be perfectly legal of you only have the correct paperwork. Sadistic performances where slaves are butchered in elaborate spectacles for the entertainment of the crowd. If you find the right parlor you can torture a slave to death as easily as going to get a hair cut.
Devils are seen as truly pure evil beings but a necessary part of existence. Devils can be summoned and deals struck. If your willing to endure hell once your life ends.
Other nations
The Empire of Glawveria isn't the only nation. On its eastern coast lays Ostoya.
Formerly home of the largest necropolis on the planet. A ritual was performed that blacked out the sun over the entire region plunging it into eternal night. The borderland is constantly in conflict with the armies of Anu attempting to reclaim the land from the ostoyan heretics that would dare defile the sun and the law of the world.
Kingdom of the Aereni High Elves:
is an Island country of sun Elves. Led by the undying heroes of their people. Contained in crystal sarcophagai that keep them alive but trapped these heros form a parliament that guide their people.
Sabu:
Is the land of succubai. The original birthplace of humanity the original ruler blaspheme against the primordials and they smote the capital but the magical back lash turned the subcontinent into a magical and toxic wasteland. Unhospitabal to nearly all life until a succubus arrived and is reclaiming the land one city at a time using infernal magic to rebuild the land slowly.
Mornkhain: The savage south
The savage south is wild lands of orcs, goblins, and giants. However the primordials decreed the land was to remain natural. No cities or colonization is allowed. Of any attempts are made natural disasters or giant monsters of myth arise to destroy the attempts.
Drekkengar the frozen north
Drekkengar is the frozen mirror of the planes of Mornkhain to the far north. Filled with warring clans that battle and raid for meager resources. But hidden away in the north is the library of nyx and rumored arcane collectives and universities.
Modern day
The contempary world of calia is comparatively similar to the early 1900s. Electricity is common place among the bigger settlements and cities. Automobiles are a new and probably passing trend. Fire arms are established but many are single action rifles. Technology and magic struggle against each other from the backing of ancient arcane families trying to surpress it and keep their long held strangle hold on industry against the new guilds of industry trying to steal away this power amd bring the world into a age of industry.
