finished reading dorohedoro & mannnn i want Nikaido & Risu to talk more about.. the hardship that comes with loving Caiman/Aikawa. How they both knew so little about him despite spending so much time & CARING SO MUCH. How having rare magic is what gets them hurt by his alter (we’re not shown that Nikaido ever realized it but I’d like to think that after learning about everything, she puts two & two together..) How he forgets them at some point anyway (or pretends to) yet they still value him and would probably do it again mannn

They have much in common. I need them to talk more

ogata looks stinky & smug 😂

usami looks beautiful & trustworthy 😌

the delectable thing about ogata & usami is that, for the longest time, you have no idea what ogata’s true goal is, so you assume usami is wildly delusional about the accusations he throws at ogata.

“Oh he’s just projecting because he’s crazy,” you think.

Tee-hee, ha-ha-hah! You laugh.

But no, it turns out usami is actually one of the those characters who is acutely aware of his own reality & can see through even those who are hard deceivers.

He understands his place with tsurumi & is living his best life being used by him.

And he was 100% right about everything he said about ogata.

In the end, it was ogata who was wildly delusional, thinking he could force tsurumi to give him special attention above the rest.

It was ogata who was aiming for a wildly unattainable goal, all while being unhappy about it (running away from guilt).

And in the end, they both die for tsurumi.

Was rereading my izashin fics & one of them mentions the Izaya City game, so I had to go back to that story it’s just so funny because it takes place after Izaya left Ikebukuro so there was no reason for Shinra to even bring him up but he just can’t help himself. He loves talking about him:

It’s a game he got from Izaya in high school that despite not playing for more than a minute, he continues to keep with him & even recommends the torture to Celty

What’s more, Shinra let it run on his PC for an hour to see if it did anything besides showing all that text & then PRAISES Izaya for putting all that effort…

Shinra can’t help but insult Izaya to his face all the time but when talking about Izaya, nothing but praise comes out of his mouth smh

Ohh he knew the game would only irritate her & has the gall to challenge her to keep going?! I know you miss him but geez

Tangent but now I’m gonna make fun of Izaya for the fact that he made the game to kill time only to berate the player for it 😂
