Stanford had entered the Mystery Shack, lugging behind himself a heavily packed dufflebag behind him. He had a rough day working at the lab in the underground bunker and decided to resurface, joining Daniel and Stanley for dinner. Stanley had been in the kitchen for the remainder of the hour, working on making dinner for the three men at the shack.

“Smells delicious”, The researcher chimes happily, a hand resting on Stan’s shoulder. Ford presses a kiss to his twin’s cheek before sitting himself onto the kitchen table.

“Any idea where Daniel could be?” Stanley asks, stirring a ladle inside the pot of stew he was cooking. “I thought he might have taken a run in the forest, but I haven’t seen him out there. Figured he must have been with you.”

“I didn’t bump into him when I came upstairs” Ford began to say, a tinge of nervousness in his voice. He set his things down on the ground. Stanley let out a sigh, continuing to stir his stew as the same nervous feelings filled the business man’s gut. Ford turned to look at Stan in concern. “You don’t think... he... left, do you? I mean I wouldn’t blame him, this is -”  

“Shut your mouth, Ford.”  Stanley cut him off, his voice was stern as he placed a plate of stew in front of Ford. The researcher anxiously his beard as Stan continues to grumble. “I only made him his favorite, like hell if he thinks he’s not going to eat it..”

The twin sits across from Stanford, glancing at the window, hoping to find Daniel walking to the shack.
