Water magic was not his forte, yet he still insisted on practicing in it areas where people could easily walk upon him, why?
It was a simple spell; to use the water’s reflective abilities to his advantage, suspending the water molecules in the air, while using them to direct the sunlight around him, and therefore making him invisible. Going over it, the thought that it might not just be classified as simple crossed his mind, but for a mage in the militia it should be nothing.
‘Nothing’ turned out to give him a mild headache, and hours of failure, until his frustration got the better of him and the water reacted. It flew out in all directions, and unfortunately, there just happened to be someone walking by the metallic dock that that moment.
“Watch out—!” If he was good enough at water manipulation, like everyone else in this country, he might have been able to stop it. Too bad he wasn’t.
