A collaboration between @burgerandbeyond and @othersidefried. 45 day aged beef patty, American cheese, tarragon mayo, smoked honey butter, southern fried chicken skin, maple bacon. What do you get when you combine one of the best burgers in London with one of the best fried chicken'ers? As you can imagine, it was INCREDIBLE. Using Burger & Beyonds A* patty, and their signature tarragon mayo from The Cliff (with a small added touch of hot sauce courtesy of Other Side Fried), then it uses American cheese to glue it to the perfectly fried chicken skin, which in all honestly, the skin is the best part of fried chicken, BUT THE HONEY BUTTER! So creamy and sweet, but not too much, the hot sauce in the tarragon mayo brings it down a notch. Then the maple bacon, which is just crispy enough with that sweet glaze, finishes it off like the cherry on top of a cake. I had high expectations for this, and I wasn't let down one little bit. It was actually even better than I thought it would be. But here's the bad news, you can't get it until Burger & Beyond open in Soho in February.
