𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 | My burger cravings are out of CONTROL. Honestly, I don’t know what to do. If only I can get my hands on @burgerandbeyond right now 😢. My @deliveroo and @ubereats_uk are usually pretty banging in my area, but 90% have closed down. I have a couple of options; @fiveguysuk which I haven’t had for maybe 3 years at least (burger that is, I usually go for their hot dog), @beerburgerstore which I am a fan of, @eggslutuk which I LOVE, and then tens of those low end places where the burgers look amazing on line but then deliver something I’d get from a supermarket. What’s the deal with butchers and delivery? Has anyone got meat delivered to them? Another week, another burger box! 🍔🍔🍔 This week I ordered from @burgerandbeyond, and this was the first time I’ve had one of their burgers in a loooong time. For £25 you get 4x the Bacon Butter Burger. Signature 35 day aged blend. Pancetta bacon. American cheese. Burnt butter mayo. Pickled onions. 🍔 Jeez I LOVE this burger. Those pickled onions add such a nice sharpness to the burger that cuts through the mayo and also balances the saltiness of the bacon. I’m not sure how long they’ve been using a new meat supplier for, but the quality is absolutely still there. I have good news and I have bad news. Here’s the good news. @burgerandbeyond have a new burger, and it’s probably my favourite burger they’ve ever done. Luckily I got a sneak preview. The PB&J Special; two smashed beef patties, double American cheese, @picspeanutbutter (peanut butter), burnt cherry jam, candy bacon shards, jalapeños. Okay, so the B.B.B is still the best burger in London, as a standard bacon cheese, but this is the best creation they have made, one that suits my taste so well. That cherry jam is something else, but most importantly it cuts right through the peanut butter to stop it being too sticky. I thought the jalapeños would be that touch too much, but it adds a total different element to the burger. Here’s the bad news. It’s only on from Monday 2nd to Sunday 8th, and it’s only at @camdensdaughter. Treacle Treat from @burgerandbeyond, a Halloween special only at @camdensdaughter. Two 60 day aged beef patties, treacle bacon, mozzarella, bloody (good) strawberry jelly, bone marrow butter. Last year I said this was the best burger I’ve ever had. I begged Craig to bring it back this year. So it’s here until 5th November only at Camden’s Daughter, so you need to go and get this ASAP as it may never see the light of day again. When I’ve told people about this burger in the past they’ve said “ew how can strawberry jam work in a burger?”. SHUT UP.
