Alright, so here are the cute bone wars buttons I got recently, along with Bone Sharps, cowboys, and Thunder Lizards: A Tale of Edward Drinker Cope, Othniel Charles Marsh, and the Gilded Age of Paleontology (that’s a mouthful...) by Jim Ottaviani – a fun graphic novel (graphic novel!) about Cope and Marsh’s famous feud. Definitely check out this book and then pick your team button/shirt/etc. from JohnnyKaje over at Zazzle. (I had to get both!)
I also picked up The Dinosaur Heresies by Robert Bakker (who also wrote Raptor Red, a story through the eyes of a Utahraptor. I’ll probably mention this book again in the future). The illustrations in The Dinosaur Heresies are clear and helpful and almost kind of cute and funny. My copy is from 1986. I love it.
Got my buttons in the mail the other day! From JohnnyKaje on Zazzle.
