Fire Girl is a, modern romance saga set in Orlando, following the journey of Aries Jones—a bold, curvy, Atlanta-raised Black woman in her late 20s who’s fresh off a painful divorce, rediscovering herself while balancing part-time work, school, and being the youngest sibling in a tight-knit Southern family.

Aries lives with her two older brothers: Zion, her protective, wise, and openly bisexual confidant; and Skhye, a charming, over-the-top flirt who’s never afraid to play big brother, especially when it comes to their baby sister.

The three siblings relocated from Atlanta to Orlando when Zion and Skhye signed with WWE’s NXT, thrusting their entire lives into the chaos, excitement, and sometimes pettiness of the pro wrestling world.

Aries, deeply loyal, fiercely independent, a lover girl with a hard shell—finds herself drawn into her brothers’ circle of friends and coworkers, despite her resistance to socializing and her focus on chasing her dreams.

She isn’t looking for love, especially not after heartbreak, but her world slowly changes after she meets Edwin “Bronco” Grande: a 6’6”, Mexican/Salvadoran powerhouse and rising NXT star with Cali swag, a Bay Area accent, a big heart, and his own legacy of family loss.

Their connection is magnetic from the jump—equal parts slow burn and wildfire. Through group outings, messy game nights, DMs that turn into deep confessions, and playful group chat antics, Aries and Ed navigate their mutual attraction with nervousness and raw honesty. Ed is soft where Aries is fiery; her vulnerability meets his patience and understanding. He brings her laughter, comfort, and a safe space to be loved gently and fiercely at the same time.

The story follows their journey as Aries slowly lets herself enter her soft girl era, healing past wounds and finding joy in new milestones. We see her best friends, Jaz and Tay, push her out of her comfort zone with wild girls’ nights and constant FaceTimes; her brother Zion championing her happiness; and Skhye’s reluctant approval as he witnesses Ed’s devotion to his sister.

The romance is unfiltered—intimate, steamy, sometimes messy, and always real. From their first date, their kitchen confessions, and their infamous first kiss, to the big moments: Ed cooking Salvadoran food for Aries, secret late-night texts, playful thirst-trap IG posts, and the chaotic but beautiful blending of their cultures and families.

As their relationship deepens, life doesn’t pull punches. Aries faces her anxieties about intimacy after celibacy, juggles family drama, navigates the challenges of being a Black woman in a multicultural love story, and grieves unexpected tragedy. Ed supports her through all of it.

Fire Girl is ultimately a story of rebirth and resilience. It’s about learning to love and trust again, about blending old wounds with new joys, and about holding on to hope even when the world throws the unthinkable.

It’s romance, it’s family, it’s struggle, it’s Black and Brown joy, and above all— It’s a love story set on fire, burning bright enough to light the way forward.
