Lucien's birthday countdown pt. 1

Lucien is a character who used to be my least favorite at the beginning of the story. But throughout the passing time and especially after the reveal in CH13, I started to see him in a new light. He grew on me in such a way that he is now my second favorite male character in the game albeit not LI.

I know the exact moment when I first thought to myself that Lucien is a respectable person. It was with this call...

#10 Rebirth

MCs return from the Dream Edge and the Eternal Winter era has shaken all of our guys deeply and they all reacted dramatically to her unexpected show-up just when they thought she would be gone for good.

As we know, all the guys have a phone call with MC and in these we can dive deeper into their thoughts and emotions upon their reunion. Understandably, all are sentimental and focused on the blessing of having her back.

Lucien, on the other hand, sees this from a brighter perspective. Lucien interprets her experiences during Eternal Winter as an opportunity for growth and he is right.

MC becomes a much more mature person after living through CH19-24 but also understanding her true wishes, her true self but also the reaches of her power to some degree. Lucien describes this in the best way possible:

He sees the beauty in this traumatizing experience and it really changed my take on him.
