10 Carnival OTP ideas

1.) Character A and Character B end up in the same ferris wheel car after both 3rd wheeling. The ride just happens to stop with both of them at the top when the fireworks go off.

2.) Hey, you wanna play that game? Oh c’mon, if I beat you I’ll give you my prize. They have stuffed flamingos! Please? Yes!! C’mon let’s go!

3.) One character is taking pictures of people at the carnival, and get absolutely infatuated with the way the lights from the cotton candy booth hit the other character’s outfit. They spend the whole night running around doing an impromptu photo shoot.

4.) Hey, I’m on my own and I know this is the last time the bumper cars are running, so why don’t you hop in my car so you don’t miss them? I’ll even swap halfway through and let you drive.

5.) Character A and Character B get tasked to run the food stand for the night. Character A, who is normally very gruff and ornery, turns into a whole different person seeing how excited children are to get ice cream. Character B is baffled.

6.) Oh thank fuck I have really bad vision and I’ve been stuck in this fun house for like, an hour. Can you help me get out? Can I hold your hand-oh that’s mirror you. Where is real you?! Oh there you are, thank heavens.

7.) Two characters are babysitting a pair of best friends, and due to the children’s closeness, the two babysitters are stuck riding rides, doing activities, and running around right next to one another all night.

8.) Hey...I know you were really looking forward to that date, and it sucks that they’re going with someone else but well...you look really nice and I know you already preordered a bunch of tickets so...c’mon my car’s outside. You can go with me, yeah? Awesome, let’s go.

9.) Character A is terrified of heights and trying to conquer their fear. Character B is the ride operator on a break that goes on the two-person swings with Character A to explain how they work and how safe they are.

10.) This is my favorite carousel horse, I pick that one every single year, but this year I want you to ride on that one because it’s the best! I’ll take the one next to it.

10 Pool OTP Ideas

1.) Hey! Sorry, I’m your next door neighbor, those glow-sticks in the hot tub look really cool! Yeah sorry I know this is weird but I saw the light on the side of your house and thought a UFO had landed in your yard.

2.) Character A falls into an empty pool by mistake. Character B comes across them after a few hours woefully unprepared to try and haul them out; but gives it the old college try anyway.

3.) Hi, hello, I know you’re the bartender/server at the hotel and it’s my job to clean the pool but there’s a snake in it and I am horrified of snakes but I don’t want it to die please help me the pool has to open in an hour.

4.) Two characters who have crushes on one another decide to finally ask one another out at the upcoming pool party.

5.) I’m a lifeguard at the new local pool. You are a babysitter/nanny/single parent and the child you are with has decided we would be great together and it is hysterical but also yeah you are real cute.

6.) Character A goes to the pool every morning to swim laps. Character B has never learned to swim and is working through a large phobia of water. Character A decides to help Character B out.

7.) There’s a creature walking around the edge of the pool. My phone is dead and so is yours so now we’re just sitting on a float in the middle of the pool to avoid certain death. It’s getting cold, get under the towel with me. We can make it until morning. I know we can.

8.) One character loses their bathing suit in the pool. The other character brings them a towel and helps them away from everyone else and away from the embarrassment. 

9.) Hey, I’m the bartender at the swim-up bar, and you’ve been sitting here a while, not really drinking, are you okay? No I didn’t really think so...do you wanna get out of here? I’m off my shift in five minutes...here, come over the bar. C’mon, I’ll help you, give me your hand.

10.) Two olympic swimmers/divers find themselves practicing before meets and events every morning. What starts as a rivalry turns into something else...

10 Woodsy OTP Ideas

1.) Two characters unknowingly have cabins across the stream from one another, and keep getting freaked out when they hear things in the woods/see things moved around/hear yelling or see lights coming from the trees on the opposite bank

2.) Okay...so they goofed and we both got this specific campsite...I could move, but the campground is full up, I already paid, and it’s obvious you’re not going anywhere so...I guess we’ll make the best of this.

3.) Character A escapes a dangerous situation and runs blindly into the woods, bumping into character B, a lumberjack, who offers for them to stay at the camp and keep them safe if the person chasing Character A catches up.

4.) I’m following the railroad tracks East. You’re following them west. You’re saying the East is shitty and I’m saying the same about the west so...why don’t we both take this switch in the tracks and go north?

5.) Two characters who take the same hidden trail through the woods every day run into one another as they’re both running from separate predators. Unable to turn around or continue, they must stand together to fight off the attackers.

6.) Hello. I see you accidentally stumbled into that there Fairy circle. Do the woods look different, all of the sudden? Do you hear those little bells tinkling all around you? Welcome, can I have your name?

7.) Two characters get chased up a tree by a bear/wolf/mountain lion/human hunter and have to figure out how to escape. Bonus points if one or both are injured.

8.) I’m trying my very hardest to hunt here, but you singing and dancing and picking flowers and talking to the birds is damn distracting, do you think you could knock it off for two seconds so I can get dinner?

9.) Character A is tasked with chopping down a tree/picking a flower/stealing some magic moss in order to save someone they love. Character B is sworn to protect the magic thing they are trying to steal.

10.) I know everyone calls me a witch, I know you’re not supposed to talk to me and you’re supposed to be afraid...but no one ever comes this deep into the forest without reason. You’re hurt/sick/scared, come in and have some tea.

10 Haunted House OTP Ideas

1.) Character A and Character B are both third wheels and decide to walk through the haunted manor together. Come to find out, they’re both scaredy cats and end up practically crawling into each others arms at every jump scare despite not knowing one another very well at all.

2.) This set design is amazing, seriously it’s terrific. And the costumes are really good too! I’m thoroughly impressed, this place is set up better than some movie sets! What do you mean you’re scared, look, it’s gorgeous!

3.) Two actors who are both on shift in the catacombs re getting their makeup done next to one another and make a bet to see who can get more people to scream. Chaos ensues.

4.) You’re shaking! If you didn’t want to walk through the hospital one you should have told me! it doesn’t matter that I was having fun, I don’t wanna have fun if it means you get spooked like this. C’mon, I’ll buy you a candy apple.

5.) Character A gets so scared they fall off the haunted hayride. Character B is the actor in terrifying makeup that finds them and patches them up, then walks them back to the gates.

6.) You’re the new makeup artist/greeter/food vendor, right? Awesome, well my partner called in sick and I need someone’s throat to fake-slit in the haunted circus, so grab that bag of fake blood and let’s go.

7.) One character in a group finds another character who has been separated from their group in the haunted pirate’s ship and is maybe freaking out, so they wrap their arm around their shoulder and invite them into theirs.

8.) Hey, I know we’ve both worked on this butcher’s shop set for a while now...and I know, I know we’re the only two in this room...but do you ever get the feeling like...like we’re not alone? Like something else is actually here?

9.) Character A is the paramedic at the attraction. Character B, an actor, just got punched in the face by a scared patron and is now sporting a very real bloody nose and grumbling to Character A as they try and figure out what’s fake blood and what’s real.

10.) I’ll bet you I can scare you before you can scare me. Ten bucks?! What do you take me for. Twenty? That’s more like it, loser drives home!

10 Urban Fantasy OTP Ideas

1.) You’re a magic-user who draws power from the subway. I have like six jobs and commute to work all the time. One very late night when it’s just the two of us, something attacks you but we’re both on the train so I get roped into whatever bippity-boppity-bullshit this is.

2.) Two characters get stuck in a magic elevator that glitches and accidentally dumps both of them onto a floor in another dimension.

3.) Apparently you used to live in this apartment, like, two hundred years ago, and I know since you’re haunting the place you don’t like me here but dammit the rent is cheap because of you and it’s a nice place so get used to it.

4.) Character one fell down a rabbit hole in the public gardens and now needs help getting back and begs character B to help them since they have something important to do that night. (bonus points if it’s a big dance or concert or charity event or something where they need a date)

5.) Listen, I know this coffeeshop/bookstore/toy-store/library/museum is really weird and people are kind of terrified of it but I really need a job, I don’t care that the shelves move on their own or your dog looks more like a lion I just need to pay my bills and...well...you look like you could use the company.

6.) One character has an odd tattoo/birthmark that they have no memory of/have had it their whole life, and one day takes a new route home and walks past a tattoo shop with the exact same symbol/picture glowing on the sign. 

7.) Character A is a professional ghost/demon hunter, Character B is being terrorized by an unseen force and seeks Character A out for help.

8.) Listen I know I have always been able to see stuff that other people can’t, but you seems so normal and I see you steal stuff and prank people all the damn time, how do you not get caught? What do you mean no one can see you, you’re standing right there!

9.) Character A is magic, Character B is not. One day Character B accidentally takes Character A’s bag/jacket/phone and gets mistaken for Character A, and gets kidnapped, and Character A has to go all around the city trying to figure out where Character B is.

10.) The city is overrun by some kind of magical creature, I am absolutely terrified but you seem weirdly calm and like you know what you’re doing so I’m gonna stick with you, can I do anything to help? Please tell me what’s going on.

     Muse A is a Prince/Princess, beloved by their Kingdom. But their Kingdom is small, vulnerable, which makes it an easy target. Muse B is the Muse A’s personal guard, sent to make sure that they are safe from harm. 

     When suddenly the Kingdom is under attack, the Prince/Princess (Muse A) must flee for their own safety and for the future of the Kingdom. Muse B quickly takes Muse A away, making it just the two of them so that they are under the radar and that they can make a quick escape.

     Muse A must hide with Muse B and act like a commoner. Muse B continues to protect Muse A, but also teaches them how to be a normal citizen. 

     You decide what happens next.
