What are your Dr. Krankcase headcanons? đŸ‘€
Full name is Gunter Wilbert Krankcase.
He's an orphan with no idea what his species is. Gunter did eventually meet someone who did, but after the guy forced Krankcase to do a lot of stuff for him he killed himself. His last words were that he hated Krankcase's species, and that he would be glad to die if it meant that the last one out there would suffer. No one else has been able to find any clue as to what he is.
Krankcase grew up in an area where technology was completely absent, which sucks when your a Tech elemental. So, he took up wood working and eventually managed to create wooden machines, which earned him a free scholarship to inventor's school.
He and Mags hit it off immediately and would probably have started an inventing company together if Krankcase hadn't met Spy Rise's dad.
Krankcase met Otto Sixsmith in inventor's school when the P.I was investigating some suspicious activity happening on campus and immediately fell for him. This was the worst mistake of his life.
Otto was(and still is) an assassin who led a life of villainy, and made Gunter follow him in an attempt to feel less alone. Mags tried to stop him, but Otto hid all of her letters and didn't let her calls go through. Krankcase didn't even notice, and believed Otto when he claimed that Mags had cut contact with him.
He and Otto Sixsmith are Spy Rise's parents, but Otto ran away and hid Spy Rise because he didn't want him to grow into a villain, and abandoned his husband Gunter in the process, just like he pretended Mags had all those years ago. This caused Krankcase to completely lose it, going from the good-natured spouse of a bad guy to a full on villain himself.
This is when the Golden Queen found him and recruited him to join the Doom Raiders. He dedicated all of his free time to searching for Spy Rise, but neglected his other creations in the process.
He eventually became friends with Wolfgang, Chef Pepperjack, and Chompy Mage, but tried not to get overly attached due to the pain of losing so many other people he cared about. Now that he's a Skylander, he's developing more meaningful connections with them and a few other ex villains.
He feels horrible for the things he did as a Doom Raider, especially to his children, and is trying his best to improve himself and make up for what he did. He's actually become a decent father figure in the process.
Hates his ex husband and will jump him on sight if given the chance. Otto cut him off from his only friend, abandoned him, kidnapped his son, and then had the audacity to abandon they're kid too?! Hell nah, Otto's not going within 60 feet of his family ever again.
Has mostly repaired his relationship with both Mags and his children, but trying to respect the fact that Spy Rise doesn't want to connect with him.
A people pleaser for all the wrong reasons, has outbursts of anger that he doesn't fully understand, and slips into insanity every now and then, but slowly recovering from the trauma of his past.
A sleep-deprived workaholic coffee addict. Spy Rise definitely inherited that from him.
Biromantic asexual man with a crush on Mags, but Krankcase is Far from ready to enter another relationship and afraid of ruining his friendship with her again, so that won't happen for a good while.
Empathize's with other skylanders who don't know what they are or have never met another member of they're species. Would start a support group but is too mentally unstable to do so at the moment.
Krankcase desperately wants to turn in his ex husband in as revenge, but is too afraid of what that would do to Spy Rise to actually do it.
