As a preamble at the point of ch2 I was sure I won't partake in the route bc I'm lazy, but after the new stuff. Yeah I won't partake bc I genuinely don't have the guts to make all of these choices in sequence myself without distracting from my mood. Watching someone else do it is still like Oh fuck.

I know everyone is talking abt the bit where Kris beats the shit out of the soul, with various reactions. For me it was kinda just as horrifying bc.. this is the culmination if their helplessness. You utterely distroyed whatever semblance of friendship they had with Noelle, and crossed the no return line. This is the end. I have to point out that a) They themselves, take damage from hurting the soul, and b) They only stop, bc they were interrupted by Asgore. The entire feels is devastating. They pled, every step of the way foy you to stop. "Please no". WTF...

The moment I actually wanted to talk about, is the little scene where Noelle talks about her night after we separate. Kris (at the moment, soulless) sought her out, to make up for what happen, however they can. I'm feeling very normal abt this. I'd like to go rewatch just this part tbh, cause I already remember it badly bc of the impression everything else that followed made. The relief Noelle felt, finally hearing, finally seing their friend act, unaltered, themselves. Makes me think, whatever distance they put between themselves and her, if, it was motivated by, some sense of guilt? Which, only greater feeling of remorse (for things bound their control, yet performed with their hands), can overcome..

Anyway, now I wake up and immediately think about DR, heh.
