I really need to find a place for Ouiima and do more with her.

She's a genuinely tragic character, but she's 100% this archetype to the core of her:

Kidnapped by the Nightmare Court looking to take their pound of flesh from ANY asura, regardless of whether they were involved with or knew about what happened to the sylvari at the hand of one small krewe. Spent three years being tormented and basically being used as an attack dog in a dog fight.

She was tortured, starved, beaten, forced to fight and kill other captives for clean water and food. All for the amusement of people who thought she should be punished for a crime someone else committed.

And something broke. She busted out of her cage, killed everyone she came across that was even in the vicinity of having done her harm, and was picked up by the Inquest. Now she's hurt, angry, scared, and vicious. She fears and hates sylvari and will not hesitate to fight if anyone gets too close.

Someday she may make her way out of that whole but it's going to be a long trip. For now, she's still bitter and angry and hateful.

Pride Month Showcase - Ouiima

A one time intern at Ulta Metamagicals in Brisban, Ouiima's life was forever changed when she was kidnapped by Nightmare Courtiers and held prisoner for the next four years. Enduring brutal torture and horrible conditions, she eventually escaped and spent a brief stint recovering with the Inquest, who found her, before leaving there as well and joining up with a new krewe (@commanderthalys), where she's slowly started recovering more of her old self. A talented asura gate technician, she enjoys tinkering and building small toys. Ouiima is demisexual!

A bunch of Valentines I've made so far featuring my characters.

Ouiima, an Inquest Berserker, had once been an intern researcher working on asura gate technology at Ulta Metamagicals in the Brisban Wildlands.

Shortly before the start of the personal story, however, she had stepped away from the lab to collect some crystal shards, only to be set upon and kidnapped by a small group of Nightmare Courtiers scouting in the area.

For the next four years, Ouiima remained their captive. Forced to fight other captives for the amusement of her captors, with the ultimatum to die in the fight or live another day, and tormented and tortured through her "stay" with them, she struggled to survive and grow stronger, until during the events of HoT she managed to escape the warring factions as chaos overtook them.

Found later, injured and exhausted by an Inquest scout, it took nothing to convince her to join. Left mute from injuries received at the hands of her captors, she learned sign from her rescuer, and began to train her rough skills into something far more lethal.

Ouiima has since worked for the Inquest as a Liquidator. She's hurt and angry, extremely distrustful of most people outside other asura, and especially of sylvari.

Ouiima, Inquest Berserker

Four years of being held captive and being forced to fight other prisoners for the amusement of the Nightmare Court left Ouiima, who had been an intern gate technician with Ulta Metamagicals at the time of her capture, angry and hurt.

Rescued by an Inquest scout that found her after she managed to escape Joy's End during the events of Heart of Thorns, she immediately took to the organization that helped her and nursed her back to health, nurturing the hurt and pain and rage she felt at the pointless years of torture.

And, perhaps not surprisingly, she is perfectly willing to kill anyone who crosses her path. Perhaps with some help, she could finally grapple with her trauma...

..it's just a matter of getting close enough to her to even start.

New girl is at level 80! Spent all my wizard fun bucks on tomes since I had everything I wanted, and I still have a ton of tomes left over lmao.

Anyway her name is Ouiima, and she'll be in the same verse as Rhenn and @wall-legion's Iuno. She's an Inquest bruiser (to be Spellbreaker) who had been working at Rata Primus and snuck out during that whole fiasco.
