Day 1

➡ Chose “Winter” Prompt ☃

Instead of staying indoors, Himiko and Kokichi enjoy the snowy weather and build a snowman (snowmage? snowleader?)!

Winter outfits are based on their beta designs!

Oumeno Week - Day 5

     Kokichi swung the door open wide, "Welcome to DICE HQ!"

     Himiko walked in behind him, looking around in awe, "It's huge!"

     Someone nearby snorted, "That's what she said."

     Another voice chimed in, "Who's the newbie, boss?"

     "This is Himiko Yumeno!" He gestured grandly at her, "She's a magician!"

     "Mage." The redhead corrected.

     A girl with blonde pigtails bounced up to her excitedly, "You can do magic?!" She grabbed both of Himiko's hands in her own, "That's so cool!"

     Himiko raised her head proudly as the girl continued, "My names Emi and-"

     Kokichi smiled as the rest of his organization crowded around her.

     "Boss, we have a problem."

     Kokichi rolled his eyes, before speaking into the walkie talkie, "What now?"

     "Himiko's gone again."

     Huffing, Kokichi climbed down the tree he was perched in. He stormed towards the small girl's temporary hotel room.

     Knocking on the door, he taps his foot impatiently. The mission was supposed to be underway, but Himiko was vital. She was meant to distract the guards so everyone else could sneak past, but no. She can't ever follow orders.

     The door creaked open and Kokichi pushed it the rest of the way. Himiko stood in the doorway, looking at her feet sadly.

     "Hey, hey!" Kokichi demanded, "Why aren't you at your post?"

     She fiddled with her thumb, "I can't do this anymore Kokichi..."

     The boy's eyes widened, "What?"

     Himiko pulled him into the room gently, closing the door. "I said I can't do this anymore!"

     Desperately, the leader cupped her face, "But I need you..."

     "No, you don't!"

     Kokichi recoiled, "What do you mean? Of course I do!"

     "When I agreed to join, I thought I'd help!" She sniffled and wiped her eyes, "I'm just a distraction! I'm always the distraction!"

     "I wanted to be by your side, in the thicket of danger!" She cried out, "Why can't you let me have that?!"

     Kokichi put his hands on his hips, "Maybe because you betray yourself as a delusional, lazy girl who can't defend herself to save her life! Maybe you're just useless!"

     It was a lie. She wasn't lazy or delusional, and she definitely wasn't useless. At least, she's not lazy and delusional anymore.

     Tears formed in the corner of Himiko's eyes, "I can't believe I ever agreed to this!" She wiped her eyes again, "Why did you even ask me to join you anyways? You obviously think I'm not good for anything!"

     Kokichi took a step towards her, "Maybe it's because I wanted you to see my organization! Maybe, I make you the distraction because I want you safe!"

     "Oh yeah?" She rolled her eyes, "Well, maybe I joined because I like you- scratch that! Maybe I joined because I love you!"

     "Well," Kokichi growled, "Maybe I only agreed to let you join because I love you too!"

     Himiko threw her hands up, "Fantastic! We both love eachother!"

     Suddenly they both went silent.

     "Wait... you love me?"

     Kokichi panicked, "Or maybe that was a lie-"

     Himiko suddenly pulled his head down to her level. She leaned close before pausing, "I can tell when you're lying."

     Their lips brushed together lightly. She was about to pull away when the leader pulled her close again. He pressed their lips together firmly, wrapping his arms around her waist.

     Himiko put her hands on his cheeks, pulling herself even closer.

     When they pulled away, both were gasping for breath.

     Kokichi was the first to speak, "Well?"

     "Well what?"

     He took her hand, "Well... us..."

     She smirked, "I'll consider it."

     "You little-"

     Someone cleared their throat, "Ahem. Boss?"

     He spun around to see Emi standing behind them, smirking.

     "Ooh, boss has a girlfriend!" Emi turned on her heels and ran off shouting.

     Kokichi facepalmed before looking back at Himiko, "I just want to keep you safe Himi..."

     She pressed her forehead to his, "Yes, I know, but I want to be involved."

     "You aren't useless. I'm sorry I said that."

     She smiled, "It's okay."

     He thought for a moment, "Okay, after this mission, I'll have someone else take over distractions."

     The mage bounced on her toes, "Thank you so much!"

     He kissed her cheek, making her cheeks turn red, "Anything for you, my mage."

Oumeno Week 2022 Topics

Hi everyone!

I'm the new host of Oumeno Week, going to be taking over for 2022 and maybe beyond. I wanted to start off planning by giving a list of prompts from the previous years that weren't utilized or voted for by most people. The week will run from December 4th to the 10th (didn't want to stray too far from Himiko's birthday, the 3rd, sorry about the rush artists/writers).
