★ Oumota Day 2026 ★

We're holding the first Oumota event of the year on March 14th, also known as White Day!

White Day is a holiday that originated in Japan in 1978. As Valentine's Day in Japan has traditionally been a holiday where women give chocolate as gifts to men they like, White Day was marketed by chocolate companies as a day for the men to reciprocate those gifts and affections. Given the gendered nature of these traditions, queer couples often choose to celebrate these holidays in their own way.

Oumota Day is a single day event dedicated to spreading love for the wonderful creations of the Oumota fan community. There will be 3 prompts to choose from (or combine!) and all you need to do in order to participate is create and share content inspired by one or more of the prompts! Post your work here on Tumblr and use the tag #oumotaday or #oumotaday2026 and it will be reblogged by us as soon as we see it. If you would like to specifically make an Oumota Day piece that is White Day themed, it's welcomed but certainly not required! White Day iconography commonly features the colors white & pastel blue, white chocolate, marshmallows, hearts, lilies, and roses.

i got kinda busy and didn’t have time to draw something, so here are some drawings i haven’t posted yet on here. these are for my childhood friends AU and pokémon AU respectively. little guys

I’m excited to say this is only part of my submission, because me and @danniwithaneye are working on an Oumota visual novel for this event!

Unfortunately due to time limits it won’t be finished for a bit longer, so the visual novel will be submitted late. But for now, we hope you all enjoy this art piece for the game! 💜

My participation for Oumota Day! Since here where I live is already March 14th, I posted it now!

The message is an indirect confession, so the prompt I chose was that. I decided to put lilies and the main lights are in pastel blue tones!

“Let’s meet again in space, okay?” His smile definitely cracked a bit. It is, in many ways, a confession... but not a love one. Even if it did sound like it, they both knew it couldn't be one, not really. And yet, it felt so real right now. Actor AU where they're filming the hangar scenes.
