What do you think the purpose of life is? "I don't think there is a purpose. We're just here to live and then die. So, whatever you do that gives your life meaning, just do it." Why is that your perspective? "Because that's just the way that life has showed itself to me. You can try to give life a meaning and you can spend your whole life searching and living for that meaning, but that meaning could be wrong. Then you lose all your chances on everything else you can gain from life. What is something that you are very proud of yourself for accomplishing this academic school year? "I think I was really just proud of finding my own place. I fit in pretty quickly. I think it all really comes down to the fact that I just picked a good school. I'm a freshman so all of this is new to me. I feel accomplished in all my choices really. I was really worried about making friends here to be honest. There's a lot of people from my high school that go here, but I didn't really get along with them that well so I was worried that I wouldn't get along with people here. What is something that you are very proud of yourself for? "My determination to do well in school. I didn't really have a goal at all when I first started going to school. What is something you are extremely proud of about yourself? "Being a vegetarian." How long have you been a vegetarian? "Almost 2 years now." What advice would you give somebody like me who is a ravenous carnivore and was thinking about becoming a vegetarian? "Get substitutes for meat.
