OVC stopped updating over two years ago, yet so many of those cartoons remain evergreen.

Just look at this common specimen of mansplainer eager to tell us that female "empowerment" is the privilege to dress in a way he considers HOT on a woman... also powers and weapons, I guess.

Yep. That totally means (superhero) comics were ALL about female empowerment all along! No notes.

HORA DE AVENTURAAAAAAAAAA!

So here's this super-cool thing.  (Or maybe it's just lame and nerdy, I dunno.) But this guy I went to high school with has a Super Hero Hall of Fame Museum and when I went back to my hometown for our reunion a couple years ago I went to check it out and OMG it is AMAZING!  I'm not even really INTO comic book stuff but I'm super psyched to see people really enjoying what they're into and he's like pals with Stan Lee and stuff and was apparently up to play "Robin" in the "Batman & Robin" movie but because he hadn't acted before they went with Chris O'Donnell and I said: "Ouch!"  (That's gotta hurt!)

The really nice thing is that his day job is being a Realtor which I guess has enough downtime that if you are in the horrible position of being in Elkhart, Indiana for whatever reason and you stop by he has ample time to show you around and is very patient with casual fans.  He is very enthusiastic and dedicated and I wish him the best.
