Getting better at our stacking. One spicey potatoe!

Pretty happy with her growth rates so far. 14 wks I think.

She won’t be super deep in the chest but she should have substance in her bone and I’m happy with her shoulder angulation, good neck and I except her to have a nice rectangular head as she matures. If she is anything like her parents she will take about 3 and a half years.

There's soo much interest in a cavalier outcrossing project outside of ckcs circles but in the actual cavalier fb group I brought it up like a year ago and everyone lost their shit because it would introduce Bad Outsider Genes even though all of our dogs drop dead from a heart condition caused by recessive genes so I literally think that having a few generations of dogs less reliable in type is the least of our concerns here. This breed was first recognized like 20 years ago, it didn't manifest out of thin air, we created this thing and we can change this thing and the health issues are fucking criminal and when I searched the word outcross in a group of 8k+ people my name was the ONLY one I saw I'm :I there should be a fucking.. breed club sanctioned one at this point.. literally even if the cavalier as we know it ceases to exist and we make a nice little long-lived companion spaniel it would be better than bringing these incredible animals into the world only to watch them die prematurely
